The 222nd General Assembly (2016) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is meeting this week, June 18–25, in Portland, Oregon.

The Presbytery of Middle Tennessee is being represented by three teaching elders, Guy Griffith (Westminster Nashville), Rik Rouquie (HR) and Jeanne Hoescht (Oak Grove, Bethpage), three ruling elder  commissioners, Virginia Lovellette (FPC Cookeville), Steve Douse (FPC Nashville) and Joyce Nix Harris (St. Andrews Nashville, and a Young Adult advisory delegate, Jocelyn Wilhack (Trinity, Nashville), along with other participants and observers from around the world, at the 222nd General Assembly at the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) in downtown Portland for celebrations, deliberations, and inspirations in support of the denomination’s biennial gathering.

Please keep the Presbytery’s commissioners and YAAD in your prayers as they travel and participate in this upcoming assembly.
