2015 Peacemakers Banquet
October 29, 2015
Hillsboro Presbyterian Church
PEACEMAKER: noun, definition: One who realizes that God is the source of peace, and that He empowers us, no matter who we are, to be the bearers of Peace.
Who is your church’s Peacemaker of the Year?
Is there a member of your congregation who has done exceptional work in peacemaking, missions, outreach, or evangelism? The Presbytery would like to honor and celebrate their ministry. The second Peacemakers’ Banquet will be held on October 29, 6 PM, at Hillsboro Presbyterian Church to recognize the work of the peacemakers in our churches. The evening will also feature a mini mission fair and special invited speaker, Hunter Farrell, Director of Presbyterian World Mission.
The Outreach Committee needs your nominees. (You may define “peacemaking” as broadly as you wish.) Each church is invited to nominate its ‘Peacemaker of the Year’; the Peacemaker is then invited to attend the Banquet with a significant other and a representative from the church. Cost for the dinner is $10 per person. A nomination form is available by clicking on the link below. Deadline for reservations is October 15. We look forward to celebrating Peacemakers of PMT!
