Director of Christian Education, Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church, Franklin (posted May 7, 2021): A church centrally located in downtown Franklin, TN, is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced candidate to fill the part-time position (20 hours per week) of Director of Christian Education. The Director of Christian Education (DCE) will organize and resource HFPC’s Christian Education programs, with an emphasis on children and youth, to include training church members for the task of teaching and leading Christian Education in a shared capacity. Program Assistant for Children & Families Ministry, First Presbyterian, Nashville (posted June 2, 2021): The Children and Families department is searching for a part time program assistant working between 20-25 hours weekly, days negotiable. Someone with a passion for progressing the use of technology as a way to care for people, who has proficiency with large databases, Microsoft office suite products, Adobe, Mailchimp and WordPress. This person will be supporting the Children’s Director and staff and the Early Preschool Director and staff.   Needs to be proactive with learning new technologies/updates and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people of all age levels; including children, volunteers we serve and other staff members. Youth Director, First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville (posted October 12, 2021): First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville is searching for our next Youth Director.  The successful candidate will have an abiding love for Jesus Christ, a passion for working with teens and their families (primarily grades 7 through 12), and a self-starter’s attitude. We expect the position to require 15-20 hours of work on the average week. Youth Ministries Coordinator, First Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville (posted August 24, 2021): PCUSA is looking for someone with a passionate love for young people and has the desire to connect with young people, parents, church leadership, and the pastor to plan, develop, promote and provide leadership for education/Bible study, mission programs and fellowship activities for youth grades 6-8 and 9-12. They will need the ability to commit an average of up to fifty (50) hours per month to this important ministry of the church, with an expectation of conducting not less than two youth events/activities each month. PCUSA is a historical church of 100 to 150 regular attenders, very active in local and world missions.
