Whether your congregation is small, mid-sized, or large, the Acts 16:5 Initiative will assist your church in becoming more vital internally and externally. Your congregation will grow internally by sharing together in spiritual practices like prayer, studying the Word, and bearing witness. As the congregation grows as Christ’s disciples, they will expand their compassion to the surrounding community. Acts 16:5 reminds us how the early church grew, “the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.” This initiative encourages congregations to become more intentional about growing in faith and practices of faith.
The Middle Tennessee Presbytery will host the Acts 16:5 Initiative seminar August 30-31, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, Nashville.

The cost of the seminar is $40 per person. If your church averages less than 100 people per week in worship, the cost is $30 per person.
